For this load I used IMR 4895 powder 32.0 grs., Remington 180 gr. spire point bullets, 3.020 c.o.a.l. (same as Remington factory load), Remington 9 1/2 primers, 2.304 trim length. My Krag, apparently did like this powder so much,  shot a 15 shot group, with  3 possibly shooter caused fliers, 12 of 15 shots  measured 2 3/16' x 1 7/8". 15 shots measured 3 7/8" x 3 5/8".
With the IMR 4350 , 220gr bullet load suggested on this web site, my rifle has shot a 5/8" x 3/8" group at 100 yards, and a
1 5/8" x 5/8" at 300 yards. Those were the best groups my Krag has shot, it has shot several 1 3/4" 300 yard groups. Who would believe a 119 year old military rifle would be capable of such accuracy. I wish I could post the pictures.
