Your wife is not the only one. Good thing I do not drink coffee, it would have been all over the keyboard!
Rained pretty hard last night. Those are low clouds in the background (not hills). Second fence is about 75 yards from the front door. I killed 2 coyotes from the doorway when we growing peanuts. The only wildlife that did not eat peanuts were the bobcats and one mountain lion seen in that field.
Small lens on the phone makes everything seem a lot further away.

As things 'open-up', I don't know if I can comply with some of this 'Social Distance Stuff' ... good thing there's a floor drain, midway!

Actually, as a person who has lost two pets this spring, it's way beyond sick, and, sadly, forces me to reassess some prior opinions. Would it be equally funny if it were a dog? I suspect not. If this is "coping with quarantine", it's doing a piss-poor job of it.

Dick, I am sorry if my contributions have elicited sadness or troubled you.
Some of us engage in 'Gallows Humor'; it is a coping mechanism.
It does not mean we do not love animals or suffer loss "at every bird that falls".
Life is precious.
(I miss having horses and dogs on our place and caring for them on a daily basis.
I enjoy living with pets and farm animals, but, it would be selfish, now.
They would likely outlive me and their fate might be needless euthanasia).

Sorry to be so insensitive also. After loosing my big weimie and after having so many of them over the years along with oodles of cats I’ve grown callous about critters not necessarily wanting to be hurt again. I guess we need to get attached to tortoises.
