	Here is a break down of the data in my WW1 Ohio soldiers, sailors and marines spreadsheet. There are 9803 men and women in the sheet to date. 101 KIA 472 WIA 28 WIA 2 1 WIA 3 33 DW 153 Died 4 POW 5 Gassed Five of the KIAs had been wounded earlier Four of the WIAs later died from disease. WIA2 and WIA3 are men who were wounded a second and third time of the listed 472 WIA men. DW is Died from Wounds I am still breaking down the the Died list but so far pneumonia is the majority killer and not influenza. This is a partial list from the 263,000 entries. It takes time to convert from paper to digital.

	Here is how the "died" column breaks down by reason of death. 45 broncho pneumonia 26 pneumonia 8 tuberculosis 1 paralysis 1 diabetes mellitus 1 Cyst Cerebral left frontal 1 cholera 1 broncho pneumonia and bronchitis 2 sinking of Ticonderoga 3 Influenza 5 empyema 1 broncho pneumonia and nephritis 2 pneumonia and influenza 1 septicemia streptococcic 20 lobar pneumonia 1 conflagration from burning aeroplane 1 valvular heart disease 1 empyema 1 complicate influenza 1 influenza and pneumonia 1 struck by a train 1 duodenal ulcer pneumonia 2 leptomeningitis 2 influenza and broncho pneumonia 1 self-inflicted gunshot wounds 1 pleurisy 1 tuberculosis, exhaustion and cardiac dilation 1 knocked off train enroute to Cp Custer Mich 1 plyitis, acute hemorrage 5 suicide 1 drowning 1 malignant tumor abdominal and mesenteric lymphatics and liver 1 disease intestinal rupture 1 killed by train 1 cerebral hemorrhage 1 tuberculosis pulmonary 1 premature explosion TM Shell 1 fracture of spinal column (accident) 1 traumatism of liver caused by truck passing over body 1 purpura hemorrhagica 1 shot by MP (Homicide) 1 acute appendicitis 1 sinking of the Otranto 1 measles and pneumonia
