My Krag research since having a KCA membership has dipped in recent days. As a way of renewing interest in the history of Krag research i obtained a Newspapers.com membership and have begun scouring old newspapers from around the country in regards to Krag Jorgensen rifles.

I came upon a newspaper (The Leader-Telegram) from Eau Claire, WI dated March 28th 1988.

It seems as this person is looking for his dads rifle. Upon inspection of serial # lists on this website, I have found that krag to have been sold at Rock Island Auction in 2017.

It is my hope that this post might reach the owner of said krag and perhaps calls the number provided in the newspaper (if the number still works)
