1909 model 89 DK single shot, bull barrel 8X58. Barrel is 25 1/2", 1.09 inches at the receiver, 0.945 at the muzzle. The barrel is original--has same serial number as receiver and bolt with a target style stock (not sure if the stock is original).

This is an interesting looking Dane.  Does it have any iron sights on it?  Could you e-mail some better pictures of the stock?  That will help figure it out better.

Just e-mail to    tbutts@stny.rr.com

Best regards,

Sorry for the delay--been bow hunting with the kids. I will take a few better pictures tonight and post them tomorrow. When my dad gave me this rifle it had a lyman target peep that was mounted on the left side of the receiver and hooded target style front site. The scope was with it.

Will look forward to seeing mor photos of this gun.  Have you had a chance to fire it?  The ammunition is obsolete these days.

Best regards,
Tom
