Never worry about too many posts or being a nuisance... we all learn from each other on these forums!  I have learned so much since joining the two Krag forums and I am eternally grateful to the friends I have made here like 5MadFarmers, Butlersrangers, Dick Hosmer, etc.  I hope to actually meet some of the people here at the range one day... shooting our wonderful Krags!!!

Don't worry about the paint drips.  They are very tiny and no problem.   It will likely cause more harm than help to try to get rid of them.

Best regards,
Tom

Sometimes paint drips can be "picked" off, without using any chemicals or abrasives. Get a stout needle, and epoxy it into the end of a dowel. You'd be surprised what can be teased off. Finish with a toothbrush and some turpentine.

Wear eye protection!!
