1894 - inherited. How do I get an approx value

Hi....newb here.  I inherited an 1894 (says springfield on the rifle) which was in the family for 50+ yrs.  I have no use for it.  Where is a good place to get an approximate value and do you know of any collectors I could contact?

Many thanks!

Need the following, please - there is a wide range of values for "1894" marked rifles:

(1) Side view of butt, including plate.
(2) Top view of action
(3) Rear sight
(4) Left side of action, including number
(5) Muzzle and upper band, from the front.
(6) Bottom view of stock, at lower band

Thanks.

Thanks, well, those pics clearly eliminate the BIG bucks, as the 1896 alteration has been performed, but it is still a very nice rifle that does not appear to have been screwed with. I'd say somewhere between $850 and $1250 or so, assuming no hidden issues and a decent bore. You can get some further idea of value by searching for "Krag" on gunbroker.com.

Anyone interested in this rifle?  I don't have any strong ties to it.  Thanks!
