Hey folks, new to the neighborhood.  I have several old military weapons, among which, are three 1898's that I have saved from rot and decay, and am in the process of rebuilding.
By s/n info, two are 1903, and one 1901.  Actions were locked/dried out/seized up, guns had been lying on a garage floor, unprotected for 30 years or so.  They all work now, but due to the fact that they were chromed, honor guard weapons, they will never be "original" again.  I came here to read and pick up info on these wonderful old guns.

Welcome to the forum!  Those are some nice looking Krags!  Do you shoot them in vintage competitions?
