	Are the numbers stamped on the back of the Krag buttplate and trap door simply assembly numbers matching the door and plate? Are they supposed to be the rifle's serial number or are they just assembly numbers? Thanks.

	'Milwroad' - The little numbers on the inside of Krag butt-plate parts seem to be inspection numbers during part manufacture and not related to a Krag's serial number. They do not appear to match each other - IIRC.
