After four months I have a pending charge on my credit card.

My service grade M1 Garand should ship this week.

Lucky you! I missed the boat on CMP Garands I'm afraid.  Was going to go ahead and get a field grade, but those have even recently 'sold out.'

Do not despair.  Gunbroker has many Garands even service grades listed for sale.  Sure you will pay a few more bucks but what is important?  Having a Garand or not?

I think they have special grade still available.  Also M1C and M1D's

According the the grading criteria for service grade it's luck of the draw on either SA or HRA and also on either a new or old stock.  Although I read on one of the other groups where someone got a Winchester in a service grade I think they reserve those for special grade.

To Culpepers point, there are plenty available, for a price. As long as there are no Krags calling out to me, I will be forced to spend money on other guns.
