After some experimentation, I found that with some practice a standard Mosin stripper clip can be used to reload the Krag relatively fast.  I found that you need to insert the clip fully into the magazine well and push the cartridges in with the index finger as you pull up slightly with your thumb and middle finger.

Nice! Thanks for the tip. I've wondered about alternatives to the outrageously rare and expensive originals. Heck, your method is much quicker than I've ever loaded even an SKS with it's intended well designed clips. Bravo.

It is not fool proof, and as with most stripper clips, it does not work smoothly everytime, but if you practice it works most of the time and is a whole lot faster than one cartridge at a time.
