Does anyone know of any videos or instructions on how to install a cut off switch on a 1898 krag?

The old NRA dis-assembly & assembly handbooks have great stuff. This has been a regular feature in "The American Rifleman" for ages. E. J. Hoffschmidt was a great illustrator and explained things very well.

Does this excerpt from an original U.S. military document answer the question?

Caution - The Manual illustration beautifully shows the construction & component parts of the Magazine Cut-Off.

Although the individual parts are shown in detail, this is all 'staked' together as a unit and not intended to be taken apart.
