I have never seen any once fired .30-40 brass for sale.  It may have existed but I never saw it for sale.

The best way to get once fired brass is to create your own either with buying loaded ammo and shooting it or buying brass, loading and shooting it.  Your call.

Powder Valley has Winchester brass at 48.5¢ each

Or

Loaded ammo  (I prefer Winchester and Remington brass, YMMV)

But if you are going to be into Krags buy as much brass or ammo as you can right now.  This is not panic advise.  I recommend 20 bags of brass or two cases of loaded ammo or a combo.  The brass should last you ten plus years even if you wear out a hundred pieces a year through bad loads, bad chambers, operator error and so on.
