In the recent auction thread an issue came up about board messages/PMs of people not seeing the notice right away. I too had this problem and often missed messages for days. So I did some digging. Go to User CP, click on Profile, go down to PM Preferences, click, confirm your password, check Enable Personal Message Pop-up? then save. I did this and a test message resulted in a pop up appearing in the middle of the screen the next time I came on. Hope this works for others!!
