1899 krag front sight screw

Anybody know a good source for the front sight screw on my 1899 krag? Have had this rifle for over 40 years and I want to fix it up to give to my brother.

An 1899 carbine in original condition should not have a screw anywhere near the front sight. The base is brazed to the barrel and the blade pinned in the base.

Perhaps he meant the front screw on the rear sight?

We'd need to know which model sight it was, which can be determined from the "photos" section, then there are several good parts suppliers who should be able to help.
