Since the terms of surrender afforded Spanish Regiments 'The Honors of War', most Spanish Arms returned to Spain with her Troops at the conclusion of the Spanish War. An exception would be the arms on Spanish Ships captured at Santiago, Cuba. This 1901 Bannerman advertisement, from "Cosmopolitan" (magazine), shows the fate of some of the Spanish Naval Rifles.
