Before I bought them, the seller sent me pictures of the cartouches but, now I can see them as well. What(if anything) is used to hi-light these or is just better lighting and angle used?
TIA, Steve

You can wipe the area with a light coat of anything not harmful to the wood, but it is mostly finding the right lighting angle (often very low and from the side) and camera position. Wood is an irregular material and often changes appearance depending on how light strikes it.
