In the absence of a WABAC Machine, Pacific's Catalog #20 gives some impression of what a well equipped gun-shop, retail/catalog store, and reloading equipment and gun-sight manufacturer looked like circa 1940.
The Pacific Gun Sight Company sold all brands (Lyman, Redfield, Ideal, Marble's, King ... etc.) and had a wide diversity of shooting equipment.
They did gun repair, refinishing and custom work, sold gunsmith and bullet casting supplies. They were big and served a national market.
This company, which originated (at 'home addresses') in San Francisco, during the late 1920's, became larger and more diverse, than I first imagined.
