End of Life - RIP
If Life is a Hockey Game, I'm in the Third Period, battling to beat the Devils, by forcing things into Overtime!

Be a kid again!
Print this picture.
Turn-off your TV before mid-night, (or the Nightly News, if you prefer).
Tape this picture onto the TV screen.
Sing "The National Anthem" and say: "This concludes our broadcast day".
Go to bed and read a Comic Book or an Adventure Novel, under the covers with a flashlight, until you want to sleep .... and you'll be refreshed for a new day of adventure.

My mom would sometimes let me stay up late to watch the Tonight Show with Jack Parr if Oscar Levant was a guest and he would play something classical on the piano. As stoned as the man usually was he certainly could tinkle the ivories. I also remember the sign off signal and National anthem then but as a young adult here in NC the sign off music was America singing Lonely People. Kinda appropriate I guess. Nowadays everything is 24/7. Too bad. It’s hard to appreciate anything if it’s all the time, just turns into noise.

In the Detroit area, we could also switch to CKLW and hear the Canadians sign-off with "Oh, Canada".

If your nose feels funny, start "Vaping".

I love the "old" Vick's Vaporub formula but got real disappointed after I found out they changed it years ago and it has never smelled the same.
I have found a much better substitute- J. R. Watkins Menthol Camphor rub. Now my go-to vapor liniment.
Just thought I'd share that tidbit.

Hey Whig, did you ever think you would be reduced to discussing "Vaping" on a Gun Forum?

My life style hasn't changed much. Still working at a plant that makes ag tires. My favorite stores are all open, though I haven't had a "need" to go to them. Dealing with some hysteria at work as more people are being tested, but none have come back positive yet. Rest of family staying at home in our old farmhouse away from everybody.
Have been asked to supervise maintenance tonight (not my normal job) from 7pm to 3am so I'm "resting up" for it today. This is a result of the night supervisor picking up his wife in New York as she just was able to get back from the Philippines. Small sacrifice on my part as I know others have things much worse. But I hope we all make it thru OK as our nation remains resolved and strong. President Trump's goal is to have church goers back to the churches on Easter Sunday. That would be a glorious day. Of course it will be regardless.

Back home from central Florida, we took two days driving through Florida 'pan-handle', Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. Lots of trucks on the road, but, not so many cars.
We had packed breakfast & lunch stuff and picnicked at some nicely situated Rest-Stops. People at rest stops were elderly 'Snow Birds' returning Home and Truck Drivers. Everyone was calm, pleasant, and respected personal distance.
I didn't touch much at the rest areas except my food and 'wee willie winkie'. I engaged in lots of hand washing and wiped steering-wheel and door-handles with paper napkin damp with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.
The drive was enjoyable with lots of nice farm country, but, it's nice to be home, although Florida's 84 degrees and Sun was nicer than Michigan's 44 degrees and overcast!
I've got plenty to focus on and futz with, so self-quarantine is no big inconvenience. (I do miss seeing my Florida kids and grand-kids)!
I hope fellow KCA members are staying healthy and safe.
