Words to remember!

This Covid19 is very closely related to SARS which China fought a few years ago. Too bad they are someone else did not follow through with an antiviral/vaccine that would have been effective for SARS. Covid 19 is so closely related that the vaccine could have been effective. Out  of side out of mind. No one saw that it or a related virus could come back. I guess spending millions on an antiviral that disappeared and you hope does not come back looks foolish.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but imo the world is in decline. Things will only get worse. With a never ending increase of human beings squabbling over the decreasing finite resources there’s no other way for it to go. Without voluntary zero population growth and a global pandemic that actually thins the herd substantially the quality of life in the real world [our USA, Europe etc] will decline to the level of the third world countries eventually. And I haven’t even mentioned global warming or the inability of nations to even try to get along. The Lord will not return to a world that is living in peace and harmony with plenty for everyone. He will return to a world so awful that He can’t stand it anymore. We won’t see it as it’s still in the future but it’s coming. And have a good day, hug your family, hold them close and spend some quality time with your rifle.

Chicken littles of the world unite!

We do not need zero population growth.  That is a western idea.  Other terms for it is cultural suicide.  The Mohammadans espouse large families and the idea of supplanting local populations by overwhelming numbers.    The Chinese are the same way.

What is really needed is pestilence and global warfare to thin the herd just like any other animal species.

Just sayin'.

We may have tried it but it was not Old Testament.  That is when God told the Hebrews to go into a certain area and slay every thing on two or four legs and move on in and have a good time.

Back my Titan days we were always dreaming of carpet bombing two particular countries with nukes, three if you count Iran in '79.  Would sure beat iron bombs to get the job done.  Ah those were the days.

Oh that's right the Old testament has been tried.  It's been done in the last couple hundred years.  The Turks against the Armenians.  The Russians against the cossacks or peasants.  The Chinese Communists against there own.   The Genocides of Africa.  Pol Pot.   the Mohammedans against the Jews, Christians, Animists and anybody else who were not A RABs for the last 1600 years. Lest we forget the National Socialists and their ilk.   North Korea snce 1950.

And while inadvertant but just as devastating, the introduction of Eastern Hemiphere diseases to the Western Hemisphere in the Age of Discovery.

Oh but we are far better than our animal ancestors.  We are sophisticated.

Anyone remember the 1971 film "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston? I saw it at the theater when it first came out and a few times since. It's about a doctor that survives a global pandemic caused by biological warfare agents....sound familiar?

One of the movies that scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid was The Andromeda Strain. That was about a deadly virus brought back to earth from a satellite or something. It's almost nothing now, in comparison to so many other scary movies but I was a little kid and it left me shaking at night!

Watch out for that truck load of ‘pods’ coming to a neighborhood near you.
